Breathless

This was a commission for
She wanted me to make her character Negative Zero, a lady samurai, who has a spastic happy personality with times of no emotion. She has one red eye and one black eye with deeper skin color and black hair. In this piece I made her with no emotions but a very happy setting. She usually wears a hoodie with red and blue polka dots... I sort of changed the ensemble to suit the scene with permission.

I never drew anything like this before, took about a month. The file size was immensely huge about 1 gig and 240 layers @A@ ...and yes it crashed constantly! I never even imagined how hard an underwater scene would be, but I did this because I felt that it would best suit her character. I would love to have some feedback on how I did! The textures are mine, so if you'd like them to use just leave a comment or send me a note and I will post them later for you!

Since this was the picture I was working on when Nanashi, the cat, passed away I put his little kitty spirit in here to protect Negative, with the permission of arrowwood of course! This picture means so much to me because of the memory it holds.

..and arrowwood was right Negative was so much fun to draw xD
